System Issues, and mail to Maxine!
I'm sorry for anyone that was affected by today's read-only status. Our engineers had been upgrading one of our database servers in preparation for our new service launch next month. Thankfully, it's all over now and members who were on that particular database should actually start to reap benefits of being on a speedier server. It'll be off the chain come September 19, though. Fo' shizzle!
By the way: thanks to all who sent me an email after yesterday's blog entry! Unfortunately, I can't answer all the messages, but I'll be addressing some common questions in an entry tomorrow.
