Are You Ready to Google TV?

----------------------------------
EXCERPT:

Google, Microsoft and Yahoo are quietly developing new search tools for digital video, foreshadowing a high-stakes technology arms race in the battle for control of consumers' living rooms.

Google's effort, until now secret, is arguably the most ambitious of the three. According to sources familiar with the plan, the search giant is courting broadcasters and cable networks with a new technology that would do for television what it has already done for the Internet: sort through and reveal needles of video clips from within the haystack archives of major network TV shows.

---------------------------------------
EXCERPT:
...Now comes a new kid, bright-eyed and bushy-tailed, with a new idea: deliver paid, premium video services over Internet broadband connections. Akimbo, a startup headquartered in San Mateo, California, wants to take advantage of the rapid increase in broadband households to deliver premium television content to the home. This isn't something you do with your PC--though the Akimbo is eyeing the PC as a future platform. Rather, it's in the form of a player that's connected to your home entertainment rack.

I am Johnson O - a Computer consultant based in JOs/Plateau State/Nigeria

I handle a lot of Computer Proposals - dealing with lots of Government Offices and private Cleints. In addition, I have a lot of DBF files I have worked on and saved for clients.

Most times - before now - whenever a need arises - I travel with my Notebook and all the accessories - and in a country like Nigeria where electricity is but a privilege - the quest to have access to your files when and where you needed them becomes a problem.

Now with Streamload - its DONE - I visit my clients alone - discuss with them - and if there is ever a need to access my files - all I need to do is go to an INTERNET CAFE and download the complete package (the original) on to a CD and burn it and VOILA - bring same to the clients.

That is now a MARVEL

Thank u STREAMLOAD

Johnson

Regards

Johnson O
